Last updated: 10 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AVRA collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit
avra-app.com, join our waitlist, or otherwise contact us.
AVRA is currently a start-up app in development, curated for luxury experiences. At this stage, AVRA operates through its website and waitlist only.
The AVRA app, member features, business features, booking features and other services are still in development.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

WHO WE ARE

AVRA is currently a pre-launch project operated by Curtis King, an individual based in London, United Kingdom.

AVRA is not currently operated through a registered company. References to “AVRA,” “we,” “us” or “our” in this Privacy Policy mean Curtis King operating the AVRA project.

You can contact us about privacy matters at:

Email: avra-app@outlook.com

We do not currently have a Data Protection Officer.

WHO THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLIES TO

This Privacy Policy applies to people who visit our website, join the AVRA waitlist, contact us by email, form, SMS or another communication channel, provide social media profile links to AVRA, or interact with AVRA before the app is launched.

AVRA is intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not aimed at children.

COUNTRIES WE MAY SERVE

AVRA may be made available to, or may communicate with, people in the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and other locations.

Because AVRA is currently operated from London, this Privacy Policy has been drafted with UK data protection requirements in mind. Depending on where you live, other privacy laws may also apply.

THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

At this stage, AVRA collects limited personal information for the waitlist and pre-launch communications.

Information you provide directly may include:

First name. Last name. Email address. Phone number. Links to social media profiles, such as Instagram or LinkedIn. Messages or enquiries you send to us. Any other information you choose to provide when communicating with us.

Information collected automatically may include:

IP address. Browser type and version. Device type. Pages visited. Date and time of visit. Referring website or source. Approximate general location inferred from technical data. Cookie or similar technology information.

This information helps us operate, protect and improve the website.

Information we do not currently collect:

At this stage, AVRA does not knowingly collect health information, precise location data, payment card details, user-uploaded files or documents, reviews, posts or public comments, account login details, passport information, identity verification information, biometric data, information about criminal offences, or special category data such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, genetic data, biometric data for identification, sex life or sexual orientation.

If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy.

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect personal information when you join the AVRA waitlist, submit information through our website, contact us directly, provide a social media profile link, or interact with cookies or similar technologies on our website.

We may also receive limited technical information from our website host and other service providers that help us operate the website.

HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use personal information to operate the AVRA website, manage the AVRA waitlist, identify and contact people who may be accepted into AVRA, send waitlist-related communications by email or SMS, respond to enquiries, assess interest in AVRA and improve our offering, help assess waitlist suitability, authenticity, audience fit or business fit, personalise website or pre-launch experiences where appropriate, support advertising, promotion or launch planning where legally permitted, protect the security and integrity of our website, prevent fraud, misuse or unlawful activity, comply with legal obligations, and manage our records and internal administration.

We do not currently send general marketing newsletters. If we introduce newsletters or broader marketing communications in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any consent or unsubscribe options required by law.

LAWFUL BASES FOR USING PERSONAL DATA

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on one or more lawful bases to use personal data.

We may rely on legitimate interests to operate the website, keep it secure, manage the waitlist, respond to enquiries, review social media profile links that you choose to provide, improve AVRA, plan launch activity, protect legal rights and prevent misuse.

We may rely on steps before entering into a contract where you ask to join the waitlist or express interest in becoming an AVRA member or business partner.

We may rely on consent where consent is required, such as for certain cookies or communications.

We may rely on legal obligation where we need to process information to comply with applicable laws.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we only do so where we believe our interests are not overridden by your rights, freedoms or interests.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.

EMAIL AND SMS COMMUNICATIONS

If you join the AVRA waitlist, we may contact you by email or SMS to tell you whether you have been accepted or to provide important waitlist-related updates.

We do not currently use SMS or email to send broad promotional newsletters. If this changes, we will provide any consent or unsubscribe options required by law.

You can ask us to stop contacting you by emailing avra-app@outlook.com.

Some essential administrative messages may still be sent where necessary, for example to respond to a request you have made.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies are small files placed on your device that help websites work, remember preferences, understand usage, personalise content or support advertising.

We may use cookies for essential website functions, remembering preferences, personalisation, and advertising or promotional purposes.

We do not currently use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity, based on our current setup. If we add these tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy.

Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies, including advertising or personalisation cookies. Non-essential cookies should not be placed unless you have taken a clear positive action to consent.

You can usually manage or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the website may not work properly.

AI TOOLS

AVRA may use AI tools to help with internal tasks such as organising waitlist information, improving communications, analysing interest in AVRA, or supporting product development.

We do not use AI tools to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Where we use AI tools, we aim to limit the personal information shared with those tools and use appropriate safeguards where available.

WHO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH

We may share personal information with trusted third parties where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

These may include website hosting and website infrastructure providers, including Wix, email and communication providers, SMS or messaging providers, IT, security and technical support providers, contractors, advisers or service providers who help us operate AVRA, future business partners where relevant to AVRA’s launch or service offering, advertising or promotional partners where legally permitted and subject to any required consent or opt-out rights, and regulators, law enforcement, courts or authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not currently share personal information with social media platforms or ad networks for targeted advertising. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required notices, consent options or opt-out mechanisms.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

AVRA is operated from the United Kingdom, but we may serve users in the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates and other locations.

Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside the United Kingdom. For example, website hosting, communication, cloud, email or technical service providers may process information in other countries.

Where required, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that international transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy regulations, standard contractual clauses, data transfer agreements or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

HOW LONG WE KEEP PERSONAL INFORMATION

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

As a general guide, we may keep waitlist, enquiry and pre-launch contact information for up to 730 days.

We may keep information for longer if necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain business records, prevent fraud or misuse, establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or continue managing your relationship with AVRA where you remain interested in our services.

When we no longer need personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely store it.

SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Our current safeguards include two-factor authentication on relevant accounts and limiting access to personal information where reasonably possible.

No website, online service or email system is completely secure. You should take care when sharing information online.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you are located and which laws apply, you may have rights in relation to your personal information.

These may include the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, ask us to delete your personal information, object to certain processing, restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, request a copy of your information in a portable format, and complain to a privacy regulator.

To make a privacy request, contact us at avra-app@outlook.com.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT

Where we rely on legitimate interests to process your personal data, you may have the right to object to that processing.

You can object by contacting us at avra-app@outlook.com.

If you object, we will consider your request and stop the processing unless we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue or need the information to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

UK PRIVACY RIGHTS

If UK data protection law applies, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent.

You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

We would appreciate the chance to deal with your concern first, so please contact us at avra-app@outlook.com.

EU PRIVACY RIGHTS

If EU data protection law applies, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent.

You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your EU member state.

AUSTRALIAN PRIVACY RIGHTS

AVRA may serve Australian users. Depending on whether Australian privacy law applies to AVRA at a particular time, you may have rights under Australian privacy law, including rights to access and correct personal information.

Even where AVRA is not legally required to comply with every part of Australian privacy law, we aim to handle personal information responsibly and transparently.

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first at avra-app@outlook.com so we can try to resolve it.

UNITED STATES PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are located in the United States, you may have privacy rights under applicable state privacy laws, depending on where you live and whether those laws apply to AVRA.

These rights may include the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, correct information, opt out of certain uses, or not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

AVRA does not sell personal information.

If we later use advertising technologies that amount to “sharing” or targeted advertising under applicable US state privacy laws, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required notices or opt-out mechanisms.

UAE PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are located in the United Arab Emirates, you may have rights under applicable UAE data protection laws, depending on the circumstances.

These may include rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal data.

You can contact us at avra-app@outlook.com to make a request.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

AVRA is intended for users aged 18 and over.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or allow children to join the AVRA waitlist.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to AVRA.

Please contact us at avra-app@outlook.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA

Our website may include links to third-party websites, social media pages or partner websites.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of third-party websites. You should review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

If you provide us with a link to your Instagram, LinkedIn or other social media profile, we may view the information that is publicly available or that you make available to us through that profile.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, especially as AVRA develops from a website and waitlist into a full app or platform.

The updated version will be posted on avra-app.com with a new “Last updated” date.
